Supper at Curry Leaf - Courtesy of Thanabalan on 1st August 2004 at 12:30AM

The night continued into the early morning of the following day with a group of the 'diehards' gathering at Thana's Curry Leaf restaurant (again!) to continue the celebrations. Many thanks to him and his workers who were on the verge of going home after cleaning up the kitchen but stayed back to cook for this group who forgot how to go to bed. Once again, Thana showed us the meaning of true friendship and generosity. There were plates after plates of delicious curry and fried noodles being served from the kitchen by the tireless and gracious workers. Not only was the group kept awake by the food but also entertained by the witty and humorous exchange of words between Casey and Kim Fui (and interjected by Chin Tiam)  - each trying to outdo each other in everything that they say. We also had the pleasure of 'listening' to Edward Lim who acted as the 'court jester' being half-drunk from the Reunion dinner and fully drunk when he left.  I must add that it was very sporting of Patrick to accompany Cecelia to this small gathering of 'diehards' and also participated in the friendly exchange of 'fire' and humorous conversations amongst main orators . By the time the group bid each other farewell with some heading back to Allson Klana and some to KL at 4:30AM, many especially Sing Khow, were half asleep with heads drooping from side to side. Sad as we were in saying goodbyes, the gathering had to come to an end when half of Seremban was preparing to wake up at the break of daylight. Hock Lye
